As the nights get longer this fall, so does the list of Pembroke Pines weekend events to add to your schedule
This Friday through Saturday, the city has cozy autumnal gatherings, charity drives, workout classes and artsy festivities lined up for every resident — young, old or fluffy.

ParTee at Night
Putt-putt at the City of Pembroke Pines’ ParTee at Night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Pembroke Lakes Golf & Racquet Club. Headlining this 21-and-over event are food trucks, a bar, a nine-hole mini golf course, an open driving range and a hole-in-one contest with clubs provided by Pembroke Lakes. Admission is free and open to those who meet the age requirement.

Opening reception: Studio 18’s annual artist exhibition
Studio 18 invites art lovers to its annual resident artist exhibition — Collective Matter — from 7 to 9 p.m Friday at the Studio 18 Art Complex. Guests will receive a sneak peek into the creative processes of the 17 creatives featured in the show, including opportunities to chat with them and tour their studios. Live entertainment and light bites will also be provided. Admission is free and open to the public.

Poetry workshop and guided exhibition tour
Got a way with words? Head to artist Lisu Vega’s poetry workshop at the Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. The Venezuelan-born creative celebrated the launch of her solo exhibition at the gallery — Lo Que Me Habita — last month and will also be offering guided tours of the display. Admission is free at this all-ages event.

2025 StoryBook Festival: Follow the Yellow Brick Road!
Readers young and old are welcome to this Wizard of Oz-themed bash from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Southwest Regional Library branch. Live music and dance performances, a costume parade, face painting, crafts, and meet-and-greets with local authors are just some of the fun offered at this event. To enjoy the festival crowd favorite — a Fantasy Forest experience where kids can meet their favorite fairy — reserve your tour ticket on-site. Fall Build-A-Cup Workshop
Design a cozy autumnal cup and make new friends at this seasonal workshop hosted by small business Thee Creators Den from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Art lovers will gather at 1590 N. Hiatus Road to customize their cups, listen to music, sip on mimosas and network with other creatives. Different packages allow you to choose how many beverages or design options you’d like included in your experience. Tickets range from $15.75 to $30.75.

Revved: A car show for a cause
Calling all car junkies — head to this Saturday meet from 10 a.m. to noon in support Children’s Harbor, Inc., an organization that helps foster kids and young mothers in crisis. The event will be hosted at the nonprofit’s headquarters, 19410 SW 58th Place, and rides of all makes and models, a “People’s Choice” contest, live music and food trucks. Though the window to register a car has closed, Children’s Harbor, Inc. is still welcoming spectators. Admission is free and open to the public.

Rise ‘N Run + Puppy Yoga
Start your Saturday with a fluffy fitness experience at this 7 a.m. Pines Running Co. event. The morning kicks off with a 2-mile run at Memorial Park a cooldown puppy yoga session by Pomsky Therapy. Jus Hip Hop lip sync battle
Jus Hip Hop Dance Studio hosts a multi-decade lip sync battle at 6 p.m. on Saturday in which participants could win a $200 prize for best performance.
