This week, the city’s got several ways to keep you busy enough to forget about South Florida’s merciless downpours and heatwaves.

Love Island Watch Party
Celebrate the return of the villa and your favorite bombshells Tuesday at 9 p.m. at Baoshi Food Hall + Bar. The Asian vendor market will host nightly “Love Island USA” watch parties through the end of the series’ eighth season. What to expect? Drinks and fare from a Pan-Asian menu with a side of drama, romance and surprises. Admission is free with registration.

Yoga Classes
The City of Pembroke Pines kicks off a weekly summer yoga series at the Dream Park Community Center on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Every Tuesday through July 7, enjoy a relaxing, movement-filled evening featuring two classes: Intro to Yoga, which focuses on foundational poses and offers chair adaptations, and Hatha Flow, focused on building strength and providing a more active experience. Tickets for residents are $15 per class or $55 for a six-week pass. Nonresidents pay $20 per class or $70 for a six-week pass.

Sunset Dash
Sunset hues backdrop this Wednesday run hosted by Sprint Society at 7 p.m. Runners of all paces will meet at 10280 Pines Blvd. — the parking lot of Maple Street Biscuit Company — for a several-mile route that will be released to participants the day of the event. Afterward, the club will reveal a surprise hangout spot where runners will meet post-run to refuel and refresh with new friends. Admission is free with registration.

Teachers’ Takeover at Baoshi
Calling all educators: Ring in the end of the school year Thursday at Boashi Food Hall + Bar’s annual “Teacher Takeover.” Starting at 6 p.m., the vendor market will sell its usual Pan-Asian fare and drinks, but dedicate the festivities to “the educators who shape our future” and “those who inspire us every day.” Admission is free with registration.

Off the Hook
Off the Hook’s knitting and crochet group returns to the Southwest Regional Library from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday. Show off your latest project or pass on stitching techniques at this cozy community event. All supplies and materials will be provided by the Friends of the Library nonprofit. Chair Yoga
Integrate gentle movement into your routine at the Southwest Regional Library’s Chair Yoga session from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday. This all-ages class will be led by Leigh Ann Russo, a registered yoga teacher and certified holistic health coach, and aims to reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, improve balance and increase strength and flexibility.
