The city kicks off its annual Summer Symphony Series in June, bringing afternoons of live orchestral music.

Performances will take place once a month through September in two venues in the southwest Broward city.

Admission is free and tickets are not required, but seating is limited.

The South Florida Symphony Orchestra and String Quartet’s musicians and vocalists will be performing, honing in on a theme for their performances.

Attendees can enjoy a lineup that features a woodwind quintet, brass quintet and other arrangements the city says will guide “audiences through a colorful musical journey filled with energy, nostalgia and storytelling.”
