Who won? Meet the seven winners of Pembroke Pines’ 21st annual art competition
After a month-long contest organized by the City of Pembroke Pines, seven South Florida-based artists have been crowned winners across six categories.
The 21st annual art competition ran March 30 through May 4 and included prizes, gallery space and a shot at being named one of the tri-county area’s best.
Certain criteria were required to be eligible for the contest, such as creatives had to be 18 or older and reside in one of three counties: Broward, Miami-Dade or Palm Beach.
Studio 18, located at 1101 Poinciana Drive, is Pembroke Pines’ resident studio complex that is operated by the city and provides space for local artists.
