Popular Pembroke Pines Asian supermarket plans to reopen soon with major upgrades
A Pembroke Pines Asian supermarket shut down for renovations says it will soon reopen with new customer perks.
Kimchi Mart, located at 11230 Pines Blvd., will bring “big changes, big flavors” to the southwest Broward city “in just a few weeks,” the grocery announced in a July 12 Facebook post.
The reopening date has not been announced as of July 13 and the store is two weeks into its revamp.
Kimchi Mart’s team has not responded to the Pembroke Pines News’ request for more information as of July 13.
Upgrades include “a fresh new look” and a new food court, with Kimchi Mart adding that customers should “stayed tuned — the wait will be worth it.”
The remodel follows the June announcement of the grocery chain’s newest location in West Palm Beach, which is scheduled to open in late 2026 and claims it will be the biggest Asian supermarket in South Florida at 42,000 square feet.
Like its sister locations, the supermarket will stock fresh produce, trendy Asian snacks and traditional, ready-made meals including kimbap, japchae, sushi, bibimbap, bento boxes, doburi bowls and more.
In the meantime, Pembroke Pines customers can visit these South Florida Kimchi Mart locations:
- Kimchi Mart Miami/Palmetto Bay, 15355 S. Dixie Highway
- Kimchi Mart Hollywood, 2420 N. Dixie Highway
- Kimchi Mart Coral Springs, 2693 N. University Drive
- Kimchi Mart Fort Lauderdale, 510 NW Seventh Ave.
