Dearest gentle reader: Wondering who’s been dubbed Pembroke Pines royalty this year?

City officials announced the winners of the 2026 Royal Court Pageant at the City Hall coronation ceremony on Thursday, April 23.

The annual pageant drew in girls ages 3 to 16 for one of two contests: Little Miss Sweetheart (ages 3 to 5) and Miss Pembroke Pines, split into three categories of ages 6-8, 9-12 and 13-16.

All had to be Pembroke Pines residents to qualify, were judged on their “poise and personality,” and donned their “Sunday best,” according to the city’s website.

Only contestants in the Miss Pembroke Pines pageant were required to answer one onstage question.

Here are the queens and princesses who made the 2026 Royal Court:

Little Miss Sweetheart (ages 3-5)

  • Luna Bahamonde – Little Miss Sweetheart Queen
  • Sybelle Kaufman – Little Miss Sweetheart Princess

Young Junior Miss Pembroke Pines (ages 6-8)

  • Giulahnna DiCarlo – Young Junior Miss Pembroke Pines Queen
  • Mahima Rayaprolu – Young Junior Miss Pembroke Pines Princess

Junior Miss Pembroke Pines (ages 9-12)

  • Janiah Etienne – Junior Miss Pembroke Pines Queen
  • Micaela Rivas – Junior Miss Pembroke Pines Princess

Miss Pembroke Pines (ages 13-16)

  • Angelina Lemus – Miss Pembroke Pines Queen
  • Maria Fernandez – Miss Pembroke Pines Princess
  • Briana Brewster – Miss Pembroke Pines Ambassador

Keeping with tradition, this year’s queens and princesses made their first public appearances on Pines Day — April 25 — at the city’s 66th birthday celebration.

Missed their debut? Pembroke Pines’ Royal Court is slated for showings at “several city-wide special events through the year,” according to the southwest Broward city.
