Ten Florida MV Express self-service kiosks are now operating in Broward County to streamline the vehicle registration renewal process. Broward County Tax Collector’s Office

The Broward County Tax Collector’s Office now has vehicle registration renewal kiosks at nine Publix locations and one Sedano’s to help streamline the renewal process.

These kiosks are designed to offer a quicker alternative to traditional in-person and online methods by eliminating wait times and mailing delays.

Here’s what you need to know:

Where can I find these kiosks?

  • Publix, 4849 Coconut Creek Pkwy, Coconut Creek
  • Publix, 5656 S. Flamingo Road, Cooper City
  • Publix, 1400 Coral Ridge Dr., Coral Springs
  • Publix, 3251 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood
  • Publix, 5855 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Lauderhill
  • Publix, 1003 E. Commercial Blvd, Oakland Park
  • Publix, 600 N. University Dr., Pembroke Pines
  • Publix, 1181 S. University Dr., Plantation
  • Publix, 10155 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise
  • Sedano’s, 17171 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines

What services do the kiosks offer?

You can renew the registration of any vehicle that:

  • Does not require a new license plate to be issued
  • Does not have insurance, driver license or toll suspensions
  • Does not require a Florida Certificate of Insurance or IRS Heavy Vehicle Use Tax “2290”

What services don’t the kiosks offer?

Any of the following are excluded from the kiosk’s tag renewal services:

  • Autonomous vehicles
  • Boats
  • Government vehicles
  • IRP registrations
  • Mobile homes
  • National Guard license plates
  • Personalized license plates
  • Parking permits or placards

What should I bring to the kiosk?

For your car tag renewal, you’ll need to bring either a registration renewal notice PIN or the license plate number and date of birth of the first registrant, according to the tax collector’s office.

No cash is accepted at the kiosk — credit and debit cards only — and a service fee of $4.50 and processing fee of 2.3% will be added to your renewal’s total cost.
