The staff of the Pembroke Pines News will be at the city’s Martin Luther King Jr. Parade & Celebration on Monday, Jan. 19, and we invite residents to stop by, say hello and connect with your local news team.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, 601 City Center Way.

Here’s the breakdown of events: The parade begins at 9 a.m., followed by a celebration from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. featuring live music, poetry, food trucks and family activities.

Our team will be set up throughout the morning, covering the festivities and chatting with residents.
