Pembroke Pines has welcomed one of the Magic City’s biggest wellness eateries to its suburban streets.

Pura Vida Miami opened its doors at 10590 Pines Blvd on Sept. 26 to health food lovers across Pines. The store, which teased its launch days earlier on the brand’s Instagram account, now joins Pura Vida Miami’s 41 locations across Florida, New York and California.

Dozens of Pura Vida Miami brick-and-mortars dot South Florida, where the company got its start, including its flagship Coconut Grove location and inaugural Miami Beach shop.

The eatery is famous for serving up superfood-charged meals that promote an “attainable and conscious approach to food” and cater to dietary restrictions like gluten allergies and veganism, according to the mission statement listed on its website.

Açaí bowls, sandwiches and wraps are staples of the menu, which also includes all-day coffee and breakfast .

Locals may recognize the Pines Boulevard storefront as the former home of BurgerFi, which announced it would close its “underperforming” Pembroke Pines location along with 11 other Florida stores last year, the South Florida Business Journal reported.

Pura Vida Miami was founded in 2012 by former real estate workers Omer and Jennifer Horev as a coffee shop in the South of Fifth area of Miami Beach, the couple’s hospitality group’s website shows.
