Taste of the Gardens is back this fall, serving big flavors for a bigger cause
The Shops at Pembroke Gardens is preparing a foodie experience filled with big flavors and an even bigger impact this October.
Taste of the Gardens, the shopping center’s annual culinary showcase for charity, returns Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 6 -8 p.m., bringing with it bites, beats and the chance to support a Pembroke Pines nonprofit.
Admission to the ticketed event is $15, with all proceeds supporting Voices for Children, Kiwanis Club of Miramar/Pembroke Pines, Pooches in Pines and West Care South Village.
The yearly fest was launched by Pembroke Gardens and the Miramar Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce to highlight local businesses while bringing highlighting community service efforts.
Over the past decade, the event has raked in over $94,160 for the organizations it supports, according to the shopping plaza.
“Taste of the Gardens is about the foundations of our community,” Patty Archer, the chamber’s executive director, said in a statement announcing the event. “This event supports nonprofits that help children and families, while showcasing the richness of our local culinary scene.”
Attendees can enjoy eats from a varied lineup including Agave Bandido, Gelosia, Village Tavern, Sirocco Mediterranean Cuisine, Misha’s Cupcakes, Carrot Express, Crema Gourmet, RA Sushi and more.
Celebrations continue at 8 p.m. for the event’s afterparty, hosted at Brimstone Woodfire Grill, with food specials, cocktails and a live DJ . Those who show their Taste of the Gardens wristband get 15% off their bill.
A $100 gift card to any participating restaurant of your choice is also up for grabs in a newly added giveaway.
Those who plan to attend should secure their tickets soon as Pembroke Gardens states that availability is limited for this popular event. For more information or to book your spot, check out the plaza’s website.
