South Florida doesn’t need an excuse to drink coffee. But National Coffee Day, falling this year on Monday, Sept. 29, gives Pembroke Pines residents an official reason to celebrate a ritual that is already part of the culture.

Observed nationwide, the holiday means cafe’s are serving freebies and discounts around the city.

Here’s what you need to know:

Dunkin’

With seven Dunkin’ locations for Pines residents to choose from, Dunkin’ rewards members can enjoy a free medium hot or iced coffee with a purchase through the official Dunkin’ app.

Einstein Bros. Bagel

According to AARP, Einstein Bros. Bagels rewards members can enjoy a free hot or iced coffee of any size with any in-app purchase. As a bonus, redeeming the offer on September 29 automatically unlocks free coffee every day in October.

Krisy Kreme

Krispy Kreme’s closest location to Pembroke Pines, at 4299 W. Commercial Blvd in Tamarac, is running two promotions at once.

In honor of National Coffee Day, every guest can receive a free medium coffee and a doughnut of their choice, no purchase necessary.

Today also marks the final day to grab a second dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just $1 with the purchase of a dozen at regular price.
