Popular Latin bakery may soon open new location in Pembroke Pines. What we know
The familliar blue chef with a twirly mustache may soon be welcoming customers at a new location in Pembroke Pines.
Don Pan International Bakery is known for its Latin American food, pastries and desserts, and operates 17 locations across South Florida.
The family-owned chain has a new location application currently being processed with the Florida Department of Buisness and Professional Regulation for a storefront at 9801 A Pines Blvd.
The proposed site is part of Palm Square, a retail center about 1.5 miles from the existing Don Pan in the city that is located at 11045 Pines Blvd. in the Pembroke Lakes Mall area.
It is unclear whether the new bakery would be an addition to the bakery’s other spot in Pembroke Pines or a relocation of the active location.
The Pembroke Pines News reached out to Don Pan for more information but had not received a response as of Jan. 29.
