Pembroke Pines Twin Peaks included in $47 million sale of 8 Florida restaurants
A well-known restaurant in Pembroke Pines is getting a new owner.
Twin Peaks’ parent company, Twin Hospitality Group, announced Monday, Nov. 17, that it plans to acquire eight franchised Twin Peaks restaurants in Florida, including the Pembroke Pines location, in a deal valued at about $47 million.
The restaurant, a lodge-themed sports-bar chain, is known for its waitresses, 29-degree beers and American comfort food.
The acquisition will also include Twin Peaks locations in Davie, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, Hollywood, Cypress Creek, Doral and Naples. Twin Hospitality expects the deal to generate roughly $76-77 million in annual revenue and $9-10 million in additional earnings.
“These are some of our top performing restaurants,” CEO of Twin Hospitality Group Kim Boerema said in a news release. “Florida has consistently demonstrated strong performance as a key market for Twin Peaks.”
A manager at the Pembroke Pines location said the store could not comment and referred questions to DMD Ventures, the franchise operator being acquired. DMD Ventures told the Pembroke Pines News the owners were out of town.
According to the news release, the transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, and is subject to completion of a definitive purchase agreement, financing and customary closing conditions.
