Pembroke Pines’ annual Taste of Pines happens this week. Here’s what to know
For residents who bond over brunch spots and hidden-gem eateries, Taste of Pines is back this week and offers a space to connect with the local food scene, all in one place.
The 16th annual event is sold out and takes place Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center.
For those who were able to snag tickets, the tasting runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., bringing together local restaurants, bakeries and beverage vendors for an evening of endless samples and a friendly community competition.
Guests will vote for the “People’s Choice” awards, issued for Best Beverage, Best Food, Best Dessert and Best New Kid on the Block.
There are 64 vendors scheduled to participate, including Baoshi Food Hall + Bar, Funky Buddha Brewery and Talkin’ Tacos.
Tickets are required for entry and none will be sold at the door.
Proceeds benefit the City of Pembroke Pines Charter School Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports teachers and students though scholarships for high school graduates and bonuses for employees in the charter school system.
