Love is in the air, Pembroke Pines.

This weekend brings a creative workshop and plenty of special spots to celebrate with your beau, best friends or even spark a meet-cute moment.

Here’s what’s happening in the city from Friday, Feb. 13, through Sunday, Feb. 15:

Cupid’s Corner at Unit B Eatery

For those wanting to immerse themselves in a love-filled space, Unit B Eatery and Spirits debuted its inaugural Valentine’s Day pop-up bar, Cupid’s Corner, running throughout Februrary.

The pop-up bar features heart-shaped decor, cheeky drinks and a festive themed menu. The restaurant, 610 SW 145th Terrace, will be open Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. Sunday’s hours are 4 to 11 p.m.

Sirocco Mediterranean Restaurant

Serving cocktails and dishes inspired from the region, Sirocco Mediterranean Restaurant is giving into the loving mood with live entertainment on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, cellist Guadalupe will perform live music starting at 7 p.m. On Valentine’s Day, belly dancer Valentina takes the stage starting at 7:30 p.m.

The resturant is located at The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, 527 SW 145th Terrace. Those who are interested are recommended to reserve a table ahead of time.

Studio Saturday: Embroidered Decor

On Valentine’s Day, Studio 18 Art Complex is hosting a hands-on embroidery workshop led by artist Vered Pasternak. The event is open to all ages and skill levels from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the gallery, 1101 Poinciana Dr.

The guided workshop will focus on turning fabric into a decorative table runner while learning basic embroidery techniques. Tickets at $10 per person. Registration is required and can be done so here.
