Small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact.

That’s why the City of Pembroke Pines is inviting residents to slow down, reconnect and celebrate community at its annual Kindness event, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center.

Themed “It Starts with You,” Kindness 2026 is a free, family-friendly event that will include a focus on wellness and movement activities.

Guests will have the chance to unwind on the plaza with yoga, along with activities to help the mind reset and recharge.

Returning from last year is the interactive sidewalk chalk project by Mellow Monkey Art that invites guests to leave their creative mark on this collaborative piece.

On the plaza’s main stage, there is a slate of performances scheduled throughout the day, including poetry readings and dance performances from local schools.

Local vendors will also be on-site at the holistic market centered on health and wellness, natural products, self-care goods and handmade items.
