Happy game day, Pembroke Pines.

If you haven’t heard — we doubt it — our southward neighbors are hosting watch parties and tailgates ahead of Monday night’s college football national championship game between the Miami Hurricanes face Indiana Hoosiers.

Who says the 954 can’t throw down like the 305?

If you’re a football fan, make sure to check your favorite Pembroke Pines sports bars for a local screening. If not, this city’s got more than enough to keep the festivites going.

Lined up this week are a first-of-its-kind parade, sitcom trivia, a run on the rocks and a Disney classic starring local talent.
