On the lineup: several midweek runs, a singles mixer, Veterans Day celebrations and a 1990s throwback.

Baoshi 2-mile social run
Let’s Run Pines meets at 7 p.m. Monday for its weekly 2-mile trot that welcomes runners and walkers of all paces. Headlining this fitness event are chances to connect with locals, and free water and fruit to fuel your sweat session. Enjoy post-run deals at the food hall and raffle giveaways included in Let’s Run Pines’ after-party festivities.

Veterans Day ceremony
The City of Pembroke Pines invites all residents to celebrate those who’ve served in the U.S. Armed Forces at noon on Tuesday. A ceremony at Charles F. Dodge City Center Memorial Park will feature a “presentation of colors” flag display, live music performances, guest speakers and the Honoring Veterans Portrait Project, an exhibition highlighting Pembroke Pines’ former service members and their stories. Admission is free and open to the public.

Trivia night at Throwback Tavern
Get your think on at Throwback Tavern’s weekly trivia night from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. The competition will be hosted in teams, and the category is “general knowledge trivia,” meaning anyone from ages 8 to 80 is welcome to play. Get a head start on the winnings — $100 in prizes — by visiting the restaurant’s website for the free answer of the week.

Pura Millas
Get your midweek miles in on Wednesday at Pines Running Co.’s 6 p.m. Pura Millas event. Runners will meet at Pura Vida Miami’s new Pembroke Pines location — 10590 Pines Blvd — and kick off the night with a 2-mile trot that welcomes participants of all paces. The run club will then stick around and refuel with the eatery’s famed wellness menu. Admission is free with registration.

Buttons & Magnets: Art of Gary Gore
Kids ages 8 to 12 are welcome to unleash their inner artist at multimedia creative Gary Gore’s workshop series from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The November edition, hosted at Village Community Center — features a buttons and magnets activity led by the Studio18 gallery resident who doubles as a musician and DJ. Admission ranges from $10-15 and is open to the public.

Military-Themed Mid-Month Party
Salute those who fought for our country with Crunch Fitness’ Military-Themed Mid-Month Party from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The festivites will be held at the gym’s Pembroke Pines location — 16024 Pines Blvd — and include food and local vendors from the Crunch Perks Partner Program. All you have to do is come dressed in camo, red, white or blue to join in on the fun. Admission is free for all, regardless of memebrship status.

Mingle run
If you’re looking to mix flirting with fitness, you’ll want to lace your shoes up for Sprint Society’s 1- to 3-mile run Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. The wellness social club will meet at 10280 Pines Blvd, welcomes runners of all paces and will offer games, activities and food as part of its post-run hangout. If you’re single and looking to mingle, Sprint Society says to wear all black. In a relationship or just looking to get your miles in? Wear any other color. Admission is free with registration.

Movie night at Baoshi Food Hall + Bar
Craving a throwback? Baoshi Food Hall + Bar will be screening “10 Things I Hate About You” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday for all nostalgic rom-com fans. The 1999 film is a modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” and features ‘90s heartthrob Heath Ledger and it-girl Julia Stiles. Admission is free and open to the public.

Off the Hook’s knitting and crochet group returns to the Southwest Regional Library noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday.
