A new way to spend your summer weeknights is coming to a Pembroke Pines park.

The Dream Park monthly market kicks off Thursday, July 16, bringing an evening vendors mart to the southwest Broward city.

Booths go up the third Thursday of each month from 5 to 9 p.m. at the William B. Armstrong Dream Park, located at 1700 NW 160th Ave. The park now sports a new recreation center and playground area, a passive park, fitness trails and walking paths following a years-long renovation.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Thursday, July 16
  • Thursday, Aug. 20
  • Thursday, Sept. 17
  • Thursday, Oct. 15
  • Thursday, Nov. 19
  • Thursday, Dec. 17

The vendors that will headline the Dream Park market have not been announced as of July 15, but previous sister markets could hint at what customers can expect.

The Cioli Group — the organizers behind the new Pines market — are known to feature a wide variety of sellers at their flagship mart, the weekly Southwest Ranches Community Farmers Market, including local eateries, home chefs and homegrown produce booths.

Vendor regulars include Raíz Sourdough Pizza, Latin American barbecue spot El Botalón Carne en Vara, a Cioli Group-sponsored book swap and Puerto Rican eats pop-up D’Pura Cepa.

“Promoting an atmosphere of engagement and social harmony results in cultural and economic community enhancement. ... We present an elevated cultural experience and strive to enhance parks and local communities,” reads Cioli Group’s website, which adds that outdoor concerts and festivals are also part of its resume.

The market is also recruiting select small businesses that would like to set up shop, but space is limited.

Spots for sourdough, candle, fresh flower and lemonade sellers are filled up, but the Cioli Group is still accepting:

  • Cottage food bakers
  • Food
  • Produce
  • Health products and soaps
  • Handmade items
  • Local business advertising
  • Pet products
  • Plants
  • Boutiques
  • Jewelry

Vendors must pay a $65 fee and commit to two market dates, as well as provide their own tents, tables and any items needed for their display. Space for food trucks is not available.
