Pembroke Pines police hosting community meet-and-greet event over free smoothies

Residents looking to kick off spring with a refreshing fruit-based drink can do so for free and have a conversation with local law enforcement while they’re at it.

The Pembroke Pines Police Department, along with Smoothie King, is hosting Smoothie with a Cop from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17.

The event offers free smoothies, giveaways and an opportunity to speak with officers.

Community members can ask questions, share concerns or simply spend the afternoon getting to know the officers behind the badge.

The Smoothie King is located at 15819 Pines Blvd.
