An aircraft experienced a possible landing gear issue at North Perry airport on Sunday and sustained minor damage to its propeller, officials say.
Based on preliminary information from the Feb. 1 incident, there were no injuries reported among those on board. According to the Pembroke Pines Fire Department, officials responded to the call at 6:50 p.m. and there were four people on the aircraft.
Airport officials did not release details about the flight’s route, time or purpose, including whether the pilot was a student, recreational or professional pilot.

North Perry Airport is open 24 hours a day, though the control tower operates form 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Two of the four runways are lighted for 24-hour operation.
“As per emergency protocols, Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue responded to the scene and this incident is being investigated by the FAA’s Flight Standards District Office,” airport public information office Arlene Satchell told the Pembroke Pines News on Feb. 2.
