A Pembroke Pines bettor turned a $1 wager into a $344,902.81 payout with a record-breaking college basketball parlay, according to Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook.

The bet, placed one minute before midnight on Saturday, Dec. 6, comprised entirely of unders for points totals for 20 college basketball games played on Dec. 7 and carried odds of 344,900 to 1, Hard Rock Bet said in a news release.

It is the longest-priced winning ticket cashed on the Hard Rock Bet platform, officials said.

The Pembroke Pines resident, whose name was not released publicly, “backed team totals, first-half totals and full-game unders across games involving programs including Kansas, Alabama, Yale, Davidson and Saint Louis,” officials said.

In one of the closest calls on the 20-leg parlay, Central Michigan finished with 65 points (half a point under the betting line) after missing a late 3-pointer against Saint Louis.
