A lottery player won just over $50,000 with a ticket sold at a Pembroke Pines Publix.

The winner scored the top prize in the Monday, Sept. 22, midday Fantasy 5 drawing, according to the Florida Lottery.

Lottery records show a Publix Super Market in the Pembroke Commons plaza, located at 600 N. University Drive, sold the ticket.

The player had the computer randomly generate five numbers ranging from 1 to 36 and beat the 1-in-376,992 odds of matching all five to win the $50,231.78 jackpot.

The winning numbers were 1-2-13-31-35.

Fantasy 5 drawings happen twice daily, at 1:05 p.m. and 11:15 p.m.
