Chevron burglary in Florida under investigation

Fort Pierce Police are investigating a burglary to a gas station on South U.S. 1, the agency stated.

Police around 6 a.m. June 27 went to a Chevron station in the 500 block of South U.S. 1 following a reported burglary.

Someone shattered the front glass before making off with about $600 from the cash register, police stated.

Investigators determined the incident happened between about 11:59 p.m. June 26 and 5 a.m. June 27, police stated.
