A new all-you-can eat Asian buffet has moved into Pembroke Pines.

Central Florida-based Sushi Yama celebrated the grand opening of its southwest Broward location, 10060 Pines Blvd., on Monday, June 1, according to the chain’s Instagram account.

The Japanese restaurant hinted at its arrival in January via its social media platforms, though a “Coming Soon” banner had been posted to the storefront since early 2025.

It replaces the former site of a Bru’s Room Sports Grill, a chain bar owned by former Miami Dolphins linebacker Bob Brudzinski that shut down its Pines location in 2024.

The eatery brings dozens of bottomless rolls, sushi boats and a selection of soju, sake and signature cocktails.

Fixed-price, all-you-can eat specials are available for lunch, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and dinner, which has no set time on Sushi Yama’s website.

A lunch buffet is $22.95 for adults, $10.95 for kids ages 3 to 6, and $15.95 for kids ages 7 to 11. The dinner buffet is $35.95 for adults, $12.95 for kids ages 3 to 6, and $18.95 for kids ages 7 to 11.

Excessive leftovers are charged a-la-carte and sharing meals is not allowed, according to the restaurant.

The same goes for Sushi Yama’s sister locations in Tampa and Orlando.

For more information, visit the buffet’s website or Instagram.
