Coming soon to Miramar: A second Juici Patties restaurant. Here’s when and where
Juici Patties is the largest restaurant chain in Jamaica and one of the most popular patty shops on the island. Now, the franchise is expanding into West Miramar after a successful year at Miramar Town Center.
Two of the new shop’s owners, Vanessa Ledgister and Hamer O’Riley Newman, spoke with the Miramar News about the upcoming grand opening.
The buildout is in progress and Juici Patties is on schedule to open in mid- to late April, Newman said.
The new restaurant is located at 16327 Miramar Parkway, in the Shoppes at Silver Isles, between a Chili’s and a Starbucks.
“Right now people are always asking, ‘When are you going to open?’ People are very excited,” Ledgister said.
The process started in 2024, when they were interviewed by Juici Patties USA reps. Reports of the new location were up as early as May 2025.
Due to Juici Patties’ popularity, customers usually don’t buy just one. Patties are often bought by the dozen and frozen to enjoy at home. The menu features the classic beef patty and spinach patty, plus non-traditional fillings such as bacon, eggs and cheese.
Ledgister mentioned talk that there is “no Jamaican restaurant west of I-75” in Miramar. Caribbean restaurant Beli Full Qzeen closed in 2022, and others out west are found in Pembroke Pines.
“Everybody is eagerly awaiting,” Ledgister said.
Other Juici Patties locations can be found in Lauderhill, Davie and Coral Springs.
