Love Dubai chocolate? This new dessert shop coming to Pembroke Pines is for you
Pembroke Pines is about to get a whole lot sweeter. The city’s newest dessert shop opens this fall and will offer treats with a halal twist.
Yes, that means the TikTok-famous Dubai chocolate, too.
Melt N Dip will open its doors in east Pembroke Pines in November, the Illinois-based franchise announced via Instagram on Oct. 18. The store — located at 12588 Pines Blvd. — marks the company’s first South Florida location.
An official opening date hasn’t been announced as of Oct. 24.
Started in 2021, the dessert shop is known for its rich Belgian chocolate-covered crepes, wraps, waffles and cakes.
It’s also famous for serving trendy delicacies such as Dubai chocolate, a Middle Eastern twist on the sweet that went viral in 2024 and includes filo pastry and pistachio-tahini cream.
All ingredients on the franchise’s menu — which also features gelato, Turkish coffee, freshly-squeezed juices and éclairs — are halal, keeping with the company’s international presence in Lebanon and Canada.
Melt N Dip Pembroke Pines is in the process of hiring staff, the store announced on Instagram, and will join two other Florida locations in Temple Terrace, a Tampa suburb, and Orlando.
A franchise in St. Petersburg is set to open by Dec. 1, reports real estate news site St. Pete Rising.
