Art can elicit something different and personal to the eye of each beholder.

This week, the city of Pembroke Pines plans to welcome a new perspective and local voices at the Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery.

Across the city, there are also plenty of chances for both kids and adults to get their hands messy, tap into their creative spirit and learn some key information from county officials.

Here’s what’s happening across the city from May 11-14:

Tax Collector’s Office Visit

On May 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Broward County Tax Collector Abbey Ajayi plans to stop by Pembroke Pines to interact with residents on all things property tax.

Residents interested in learning more about discounts, enrolling in a payment plan or signing up for e-billing can stop by Monday at the Charles F. Dodge City Center.
