Interactive Rocky Horror-inspired show coming to Pembroke Pines. Here are details
Nights of bawdy performances, cocktails and heavy participation are coming to Pembroke Pines, inviting the city’s more mature audiences to do the Time Warp again.
Tickets are now on sale for “Rocky Horror-ish Burlesque: An Unauthorized Parody Cocktail Experience,” set for three nights at the Douce Lounge, 8300 Pines Blvd.
The interactive burlesque parody show, inspired by the 1975 musical cult classic, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” will run from Thursday, April 30, through Saturday, May 2, with performances nightly at 6 and 9 p.m.
Marketed as an “unauthorized” experience, the show plans to mix comedy, sultry performances and plenty of sing-along moments. Guests will be encouraged to call back to the emcee and join the cast on stage.
Each ticket includes four crafted cocktails, with prices starting at $55 for opening night.
The 90-minute show features a cast of dancers performing the bold, character driven numbers inspired by the film and musical’s most iconic moments.
Guests must be 21 years or older to attend.
