Spring may have sprung, but March is coming to a close.

Wondering how to make the most of what’s left of the month’s madness?

A community run, official city updates and marshmallow diorama contest are some of the ways Pembroke Pines plans to celebrate the end of March and the start of April.

For more on the city’s weekday festivities, check out these events happening from Monday, March 30, through Thursday, April 2:

Let’s Run Pines x LIME

Kick off your week with a 2-mile trot at 7 p.m. on Monday. Runners of all paces will meet at Pembroke Gardens’ Lime Fresh Mexican Grill and fuel up on the club’s complimentary water and fruit. A post-sweat session social at the restaurant includes exclusive discounts for Let’s Run Pines members. The event is free and open to the public with registration.

State of the city address

Mayor Angelo Castillo will deliver the 2026 state of the city address on Tuesday, covering budgets, priorities and the city’s future direction. Residents are invited to join commissioners at City Hall for the 6:30 p.m. speech, followed by a regular commission meeting. Those who can’t attend in person can tune in through the city’s website or YouTube livestream.

Trivia nation

Put your brain to the test at Throwback Tavern’s weekly trivia night from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. The competition will be hosted in teams and the category is “general knowledge trivia,” meaning anyone from ages 8 to 80 is welcome to play. Get a head start on the winnings — $100 in prizes — by visiting the restaurant’s website for the free answer of the week.

Spring Family Night at Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A invites families to a spring celebration filled with fun and feasting on Tuesday. From 5 to 7 p.m., the chain’s 12203 Pines Blvd. restaurant will treat all children under 12 to free kids meals. Families can also enjoy arts and crafts as well as a special appearance from the Chick-fil-A cow.

Line dancing at Boneyard Pizza Co.

Head to BoneYard Pizza Co. on Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. to wind down your workweek with a line dancing night. The event kicks off with a one-hour lesson on a western-themed dance floor for those new to the “do-si-do.” Admission is $10, but includes either a food and drink credit or an arcade game card for the same amount.

Peeps diorama contest

The Southwest Regional Library challenges Pembroke Pines’ sweet tooths to a marshmallow diorama contest this Easter season. Through Friday, April 3, participants of all ages can submit their take on a Peeps display. Dioramas will be exhibited at the library and winners will be voted on April 8-20. Other materials are welcome as long as they’re non-perishable — save for the marshmallows — and don’t exceed the contest’s size limits.

The Night Market

Calling all foodies — Florida Fresh Markets hosts its weekly Pembroke Lakes Mall evening market Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. Held at NW Fourth Street — in the lot between Macy’s and Target — the event features food trucks and dozens of local vendors, artisans and live entertainment. Admission is free and open to the public.
